Ok, I've written, deleted and re-written this post for four times now, I think it's time that I just let it go and type.
The previous four versions of this post included some New Year's Resolution that I didn't think I can keep, some complaints and some dreaming, some information that's better left unshared, etc. (it is Yuan writing, by the way) I've concluded that I should just settle with a report of the holidays.
Christmas was fun. This year Kai actually started getting an idea of who Santa Claus is and what he does. Through out the holidays you could hear him talking to himself 'Santa brings PRESENTS! He put it under the tree!' and he can tell you that Christmas is Jesus' birthday, which is like a double whammie in his book because whenever it's someone's birthday, presents are surely involved (he doesn't understand that he can't have presents on someone else's birthday yet).
So that goes without saying that Kai had a blast on Christmas morning opening his presents... and that he kept asking for presents for a week afterwards :)
Senya seemed unshaken as ever by all the fuss of Christmas. She has been calm and watchful as things unfold around her. The best present I've received in 2010 was her, of course, I just didn't expect the bonus of her AND 10 hours of sleep. (yes, she sleeps through the night. Not the 'baby' standard of 6 hours, but 10-12 hours like a real person) So we had the true blessing of being woken up on Christmas morning by our kids at 9 AM. I try not to boast about it, but come on, you gotta admit that's fantastic :)
We had Grammy Pammie with us for Christmas, and as always, she brought so much love, joy and good food to us (not to mention the millions of presents), we were sad when she had to go back to Utah.
My cousin Heather brought her new husband and spent New Years with us. It was nice to meet him, and we were glad to see that she's found a good guy. Kai tainted my new year's day with 3 potty accidents, and I had a bad feeling that that was going to be a big part of my new year: cleaning up potty accidents...
And as soon as we've said 'bye' to Heather, our kids got sick.Senya is struggling through her first real sickness (stuffy nose and a cough) and we are all trying to cope with the 'January blue' of everyone being gone and that we are another year older :)
This is bound to be a busy year...I'll try to come up with a New Year's Resolution other than 'stay sane and try not to pull out all of my hair while dealing with Kai' when I get around to it. Wish me luck!

Yuan, I am so jealous! 10-12 hours is what I dream about every night...right before I'm woken by the sound of a baby that seems to ALWAYS BE HUNGRY!! Haha...but I am happy for you! We got to see Justin today - so sad you couldn't come too! But we will see you again eventually I'm sure....keep well!
Kerry
PS - your kids are so cute! :)
