So where were we?

Ummm yeah. Say no more. I understand.
So it's been three months. During which we had Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Where do I even begin to catch up? (of course it's Yuan typing. Justin doesn't even bother anymore)

Well the last time I was talking about our China trip. I will just end the whole tirp with one awesomely grusome story. (If you are nursing or pregnant, maybe you shouldn't read it)

So we were in Suzhou, on a boat ride, touring the beautiful city by water. All was well, we were laughing and taking pictures of the scenery, and our driver (what do you call someone that manually rows the boat?) was singing us a folk song. Because we were shifting our weight around the boat was rocking, and something hit my head. I was sitting right in front of a hanging decoration I thought nothing of it.

After a little while I noticed something on the plank where I was sitting that weren't there before. It looked like a red rock, but seemed incredible moist for a rock. Upon closer inspection I jumped back 3 feet---it was a frog head, freshly cut off. Someone must've chucked it onto our boat. The girls moved away from it and of course the boys had to poke around and take pictures of it. It was a little bit of a scare but we moved on.

About three hours later, we were on a train back to Shanghai, though it's only a 90 minute train ride we couldn't get seats, instead we had to buy bunks (we didn't want to stand). So I laid down on my bunk with my hands behind my head, and found a spot where my hair was stuck together. Ummm what could've caused that? Ummm.... Yeah you are right. It was the frog head that hit me in the boat, left a spot of blood (ugh...), and fell on to the plank next to where I was sitting, and I found the dried-blood spot on my head three hours later. It's a good thing that I didn't connect the dots when we were in Suzhou still because it would have ruined the day for me (it still did ruin a small portion, but now it's just a grusomely awsome story I get to tell)

So when we got to the hotel I washed my hair. Twice. Considered cutting it off but thought better of it (I'm glad I didn't)

The rest of the trip was great :) I loved Hong Kong and would recommend it to anyone that's heading over that general direction.

So anyway. Thanksgiving was great~ (thought I honestly couldn't remember what we did.) Christmas was even better having (almost~ we were one short) everyone here~ We went crabbing and actually caught something this time (though still very much not cost-effective).

Now it's 2010, and we are well on our way of planning out this year, I have to say doing a very good job so far. We are hoping to go to Europe at the end of March (well we'd already bought our tickets... the hoping part is I get my visa in time so we don't just throw away 1600 dollars). We are hoping to have my parents come and visit sometime this summer/fall, and that's our plans so far (not very many. that's how we get good at planning:))))

So long guys, and I hope the next posting won't be too far away.
