So... ummm... in case anyone cared, we'll be welcoming someone new into our little family (soon, not soon enough though),
We (I) are pregnant with our 2nd child. We don't yet know what gender it is, and we'll find out in a week and half. It's really anyone's guess, and please give us a guess if you'd like because we are all curious when the Mitchell family will finally receive another little girl to break the 5-boy streak.
Other than that... Kai will be turning 2 in a little over a week! I can't believe how much older he seems already (with all the non-stop babbling and climbing and running and jumping). His favorite word right now is 'Nice!', and he compliments himself with this word everytime he throws a ball or jumps off the couch.
Justin and I took a trip to Europe last month (sans Kai, thanks to my beautiful sister-in-law Shannon), and it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone to travel without their little ones every once in a while. You suddenly realize there are so many little pleasures of life that you haven't experienced for a while (sleep-in till whenever you want, eat however slow you want, or walk into whichever store you want...) and it was quite nice to be able to enjoy them again even just for a short amount of time.
So that's all I have energy to write right now. Pardon me for being brief :)

Congratulations! That is seriously so exciting. I can't believe you are already finding out what you are having in a week and a half and you are just now posting this news on your blog! So what is your due date?
Congratulations Mitchells! I'm going to guess boy though, not girl. I know what you mean by enjoying simple pleasures without your kids. Sometimes I wonder if I tasted any of my food after manning the dinnertime battle ground.

looks like you had a blast in europe! We're in switzerland, but of course, brought Lisa since alex has to be here for 10 weeks. We'll see how this goes!
Congrats!!! Yes, a girl would be nice to break the 12th boy streak on the Storer grandchildren. Nice you were able to have a trip before the 2nd one comes!
Congrats to you and your cute little family! I will be looking for a new post soon to find out what you are having. I will guess a girl - positive thinking, right? I love my boys, but a girl sure is fun too!
We are waiting to see recent pictures of that sweet boy, Kai.
